This Privacy Policy explains how Precision Web Partners collects, uses, discloses, stores, protects, retains, and manages personal information in connection with our website, consultation bookings, complimentary live demo requests, checkout process, invoices, client projects, website builds, support plans, maintenance plans, SEO services, Google Business Profile support, domain support, digital presence consulting, and related services.

This policy applies when you use our website, submit a form, book a consultation, request a live demo, purchase or pay for a service, communicate with us, or otherwise provide personal information.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected, used, disclosed, or processed by Precision Web Partners through:

e. Stripe payment pages, payment links, invoices, or subscription checkout flows;

This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy policy that a client may need for the client’s own website, business, customers, patients, users, or visitors. Clients remain responsible for their own privacy, cookie, accessibility, advertising, professional, consumer-protection, and regulatory obligations.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our services, business operations, checkout, payment processing, project delivery, communication, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and website operation.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following information.

3.1 Contact and Identity Information

We may collect:

n. page-by-page instructions;

q. SEO or visibility goals;

r. digital presence issues or concerns.

3.3 Payment and Billing Information

We may collect or receive limited payment and billing information, including:

a. billing name;

b. billing email;

c. billing address;

d. selected package, add-on, or plan;

e. invoice details;

f. subscription status;

g. transaction amount;

h. payment status;

i. tax information where required;

j. limited payment method details made available by a payment processor, such as the card brand and last four digits.

We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our own systems. Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe.

h. website builders;

i. payment platforms;

j. calendar tools;

k. email platforms;

l. social media or business listing platforms.

Clients should provide access using delegated access, temporary permissions, administrator invitations, role-based access, password managers, or other secure methods where available.

Clients should not send unnecessary passwords or sensitive credentials by insecure channels.

3.7 Sensitive Information

Precision Web Partners does not normally need sensitive personal information to provide website services.

You should not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for the project and we have specifically requested it. Sensitive information may include government identification, financial account information, health information, legal documents, private customer records, employee records, patient records, or other highly confidential materials.

If you send sensitive information we did not request, we may securely delete it or ask you to resend only what is needed for the service.

4. How We Collect Information

We may collect personal information:

n. to send invoices, receipts, service notices, renewal notices, cancellation confirmations, and administrative messages;

o. to improve our website, service quality, pricing, client experience, and service operations;

b. hosting providers;

f. scheduling and booking tools;

g. email service providers;

h. cloud storage providers;

i. website platforms, CMS providers, plugins, APIs, software tools, and automation tools;

j. contractors, developers, designers, consultants, or service providers who assist us;

k. accountants, banks, insurers, legal counsel, tax advisors, and professional advisors;

l. government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or dispute-resolution bodies where required or permitted by law;

m. a buyer, successor, assignee, lender, advisor, or potential purchaser in connection with a business transaction involving Precision Web Partners.

n. Cloudflare, including Cloudflare Turnstile, for content delivery, website security, abuse prevention, and verification-token processing.

We expect service providers to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

8. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment processor.

When you pay through Stripe, your payment information is provided directly to Stripe or processed through Stripe’s systems. Stripe may collect and process information for payment processing, fraud prevention, identity verification, compliance, security, billing, subscriptions, tax calculation, and related purposes.

Precision Web Partners does not control Stripe’s privacy practices. You should review Stripe’s privacy policy and terms before submitting payment information.

9. Cookies, Analytics, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels, analytics scripts, local storage, or similar technologies to:

a. operate the website;

b. remember preferences;

c. measure website traffic;

d. understand how visitors use the website;

e. improve performance;

f. detect technical issues;

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on forms to distinguish people from automated abuse. Turnstile may process network, device, browser, interaction, security, and verification-token information for fraud and abuse prevention. Turnstile tokens are validated by our server and are not used as payment credentials. Cloudflare’s privacy practices apply to its processing.

10. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing emails, newsletters, promotional messages, or service offers only where permitted by law.

Marketing messages will identify Precision Web Partners and include an unsubscribe mechanism where required.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not stop transactional, legal, administrative, billing, project, renewal, cancellation, or support communications.

11. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required for legal, tax, accounting, billing, operational, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, recordkeeping, or enforcement purposes.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information.

Examples:

a. billing and transaction records may be retained for tax, accounting, and legal purposes;

b. project records may be retained to support future edits, support, dispute prevention, client history, and business records;

c. support and cancellation records may be retained to confirm client instructions;

d. analytics data may be retained according to analytics tool settings;

e. access credentials should be deleted, revoked, or returned when no longer required, subject to the client’s cooperation;

f. legal or dispute-related records may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to protect rights.

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, archive, or securely retain it in accordance with applicable law and practical business requirements.

12. Security Safeguards

Precision Web Partners uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information under our control.

Safeguards may include:

c. two-factor authentication where available;

d. limited access to client information;

e. secure third-party platforms;

f. encrypted payment processing through third-party processors;

g. secure storage practices;

h. project access controls;

j. reasonable monitoring of systems we control.

No online system, transmission method, hosting service, website, software, plugin, API, or storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Clients are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts, passwords, domains, hosting, Google accounts, website admin access, payment accounts, and third-party platforms after launch unless they purchase an eligible support plan that expressly covers specific maintenance or security services.

13. Privacy Breaches and Confidentiality Incidents

If Precision Web Partners becomes aware of a privacy breach or confidentiality incident involving personal information under our control, we will assess the incident and take reasonable steps required by applicable law.

Where required, we may notify affected individuals, privacy regulators, service providers, payment processors, law enforcement, or other organizations.

We may maintain records of privacy breaches or confidentiality incidents as required by law.

If a privacy or security incident occurs because of the client’s own systems, third-party accounts, client-managed website, post-launch operation, cancelled support plan, $0/month Self-Managed Option, client staff, client passwords, client content, or third-party platforms outside our control, the client is responsible for responding unless Precision Web Partners has expressly agreed to provide relevant support under an eligible paid plan.

14. Cross-Border Processing

Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States or other jurisdictions.

When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, including lawful access by courts, governments, law enforcement, or regulators.

By using our services, you understand that personal information may be transferred, stored, or processed outside your province, territory, or country where permitted by law.

15. Access and Correction Requests

Subject to legal limits, you may request access to personal information we hold about you.

You may also request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

We may not be able to delete information that must be retained for lawful business purposes, legal compliance, payment records, invoices, tax records, dispute handling, fraud prevention, service history, or enforcement of rights.

Where Québec privacy law applies, individuals may have additional rights regarding personal information, including rights related to access, correction, withdrawal of consent, information about processing, confidentiality incidents, and portability where applicable.

18. Client Websites and Client Customer Information

Precision Web Partners may build websites that collect information from the client’s own customers, patients, users, or visitors through forms, booking links, analytics, lead-capture tools, or third-party integrations.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, the client is responsible for:

a. deciding what information the client collects from its own customers;

b. ensuring the client has a lawful basis and consent where required;

c. maintaining the client’s own privacy policy;

d. maintaining cookie notices and consent tools where required;

e. complying with accessibility, privacy, professional, industry, consumer-protection, and advertising laws;

f. responding to privacy requests from the client’s own customers;

g. protecting customer data after launch;

h. monitoring third-party tools used by the client’s website.

Precision Web Partners is not the client’s privacy officer, legal counsel, compliance officer, or regulated privacy advisor unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

19. Children and Minors

Our services are intended for businesses and adult representatives of businesses.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children or minors. If a client’s website is directed to children, minors, students, patients, families, or other protected groups, the client is responsible for obtaining legal advice and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

20. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website, communications, or services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, or services that are not owned or controlled by Precision Web Partners.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, content, security, or operations of third-party websites or services.

When you leave our website or interact with a third-party service, that third party’s privacy policy and terms will apply.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party services you use.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Precision Web Partners may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, legal requirements, or business operations.
